HOW TO GET TO KOH NANG YUAN
Koh Nang Yuan is just 10 minutes away from Koh Tao and can be easily spotted from Sairee Beach or the pier. But how to get to Koh Nang Yuan?
You can easily negotiate with one of the many taxi boats in Sairee Beach or Mae Haad Beach. The price would be around 800 bahts both ways for 2 persons, but you’ll need to negotiate with the taxi boat. The more you are, the cheaper it will be.

Can I get to Koh Nang Yuan from Koh Samui or Koh Phangan?
Yes, you can. The company Lomprayah and some other ones offer special tours to visit Koh Nang Yuan from the neighboring Koh Samui and Koh Phangan. However, you have to take into consideration that the island is not within close proximity, therefore expect to spend the whole day there.
If you are travelling in high season, bear in mind that the island will be busier. Although it doesn’t have the same amount of tourists as Maya Bay (famous for the film “The Beach” with Leonardo Di Caprio), you can also expect many people in Christmas time or in August.
WHAT TO DO IN KOH NANG YUAN
You can expect the classic beach activities in Koh Nang Yuan. One of the most activities to do there is climbing up the hill towards the viewpoint and take the most famous photo in the island. The viewpoint is easily accessible from the beach and you’ll find the perfect image for your Instagram account.
Another one of the main activities on the island is snorkeling due to the clear blue waters that make it the perfect conditions.
